Some of my earliest memories are of the time I was a young boy in a small southwestern Wyoming town, are watching my grandmother painstakingly save every scrap of old shirts, pants, socks and any other material she could recycle, that word had not yet been invented but she was doing it, and braid them into yarn and create the most wonderful rugs, carpets and place mats imaginable.  Some of these are still in our family seventy years later.

Fast forward to the time I discovered stained glass art. In the beginning I was doing what everyone else did, I either copied existing patterns or created my own. I had a little week end store, where I bought and sold glassware.  I began to notice how many wonderful, old pieces of table ware and picture frames were finding their way into the land fills.

I came to the conclusion that in my own small way I could do something to save a few of these memories of the past by incorporating them into my stained glass work.

From that time on my life changed.  Now in my work as well as conventional stained glass patterns, I  also use beautiful pieces of old table ware and wonderful old frames and hold everything together with, colorful, original, stained glass designs, some of which are pictured in my portfolio, which I hope you visit.

I now do art pieces which I offer for sale, and special pieces designed only for your home, for that special window, that special room.  If you like what you see and want to partner up with me to create something for you, please go to my contact page and let me know.

I thank you and I know my old grandmother thanks you too.
